A quick update to say that my bronchoscopy biopsy is scheduled for this coming Monday, November 23 and my first immunotherapy infusion will be Tuesday, November 24. I'm so grateful for my United Healthcare Nurse Care Coordinator, Sara, who made multiple calls to expedite resolving another insurance snag (good thing I wasn't holding my breath, right?) I'm also incredibly grateful for the Melanoma Clinic nurses for all their hard work getting my biopsy and infusion approved and scheduled.
Praise God for:
- The biopsy and treatment scheduled quickly
- A negative COVID result (had to have that for the biopsy)
Pray for:
- The upcoming biopsy-smooth procedure and that they will easily get what they need.
- Me to be able to drink enough water after my 2:30 PM biopsy, so I can be hydrated for the infusion on Tuesday. I have found that they have trouble starting my IV for infusion when I don't drink enough water the day prior. But, I can't drink water until after the biopsy.
- God's continued peace.
- If it's God's will, that He would eradicate every cancer cell.
- That God would be glorified in everything that is going on.
This was a great reminder to me this week. My God is bigger than insurance snags and cancer and His power is my power.
Each time He said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
~2 Corinthians 2:9-10 (New Living Translation)
Thanks again for your prayers and support!
