10 days has felt like a long journey, especially when filled with lessons in humility. It has been difficult to sit back and depend on everyone else to do for me when I want to do for myself or even be the one to help them! But, I am thankful for the reminder to depend on the great God of the universe for everything. Hopefully, tomorrow marks an end to this part of my journey and I can proceed with healing...on both my feet!
Praises:
- Our kids had a wonderful time camping with friends. I missed joining them, but was grateful for all the wonderful people who were looking out for them and praying for them!
- We have almost made it through 10 more days of no weight bearing since my appointment a week ago Monday...and I'm still sane!
Prayer Requests:
- Continued healing.
- The ability to ease back into activity rather than dive in. Our homeschool co-op starts back up this week, and there is a lot involved. Pray I'll behave and stay off my foot when needed.
- Wisdom as we prayerfully consider the option of removing the remaining groin lymph nodes against the effects of that surgery.
