Treatment Plan

C. R. & I  met with my melanoma oncologist yesterday, so we have a plan.  The biopsy results from my right groin lymph nodes confirmed that we are definitely dealing with melanoma, at least in those nodes.

Dr. G is a most professional, knowledgable and personable doctor and we are very blessed that I am under his care, and . . .

Planning

and Waiting and Planning

I was able to get the PET scan completed Friday and the biopsy on Tuesday.  Both procedures were uneventful and I continue to praise God for the excellent care from the wonderful professionals at Huntsman.

Insurance seems to be going smoothly, but I'm not holding my breath because snags don't usually show up until it's time . . .

Here We Go

PET Scan and Biopsy

Long Overdue

Every 6 Months Now

I blinked and 6 months flew by-wow!  I prepared for scans in June, but then learned that our new insurance was optimistic about my treatment and decided I didn't need that last set of every 4 month scans (translate=they were not inclined to pay for them until 6 months had past). Fast-forward to September and I had the whole battery of . . .

All Clear

Good Scans, New Location

I had my routine scans on Monday and today learned that everything continues to look great, praise God.  I am very thankful for this news.

Another unexpected blessing is that I will get to visit a location much closer to home for my scans moving forward.  We have new insurance, so the Farmington Health Center is now an option . . .
