Pristine
Clear Scans Again
I guess I would not use the word, "pristine" to describe medical imaging, but that is how Dr. V described my scans from this past week, so we'll call them pristine.
These scans mark the end of my 2018 treatment, and ideally the end of my melanoma treatment for good! I will still continue with scans and doctor . . .
Finished
Final Infusion Complete
I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders.I will be glad and exult in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. ~ Psalm 9:1
Today was my last visit to the Huntsman Infusion Room (Lord willing, for good)! It was a busy day for the hospital, but despite some delays I was able . . .

Light at the End of the Tunnel
I'm hoping my readers are operating under the "No news is good news" rule of thumb as far as I go. I know life gets busy for everyone, so you no doubt understand when I'm late to update. I completed my . . .

Immunotherapy Treatment
I know I've been quiet for a while. Trust me, our lives have been anything but quiet. I just haven't had the chance to sit down at my computer to write an update.
We met another doctor on the Huntsman Melanoma Team (along with his fabulous staff) last week. Dr. Kenneth Grossmann (Medical Oncologist) gave us the . . .

And Surviving the CT Contrast "Smoothie"
I completed the baseline CT and MRI scans on Tuesday evening. As I posted on Facebook the other day, "Just for the record, 'Berry Smoothie' is slightly misrepresenting the contents of this bottle. It should actually read, 'Artificial blueberry flavored liquified chalk beverage commonly used as torture device'". Honestly, that . . .
